1. Who we are

QROBOROS LIMITED ("we", "us") is the data controller for personal data collected through qroboros.co.uk. Company number 17182485, registered office: Office 7100, 58 Peregrine Road, Hainault, Ilford, Essex, United Kingdom, IG6 3SZ. Contact: retail.sale@qroboros.co.uk.

2. What we collect

• Order data — name, email, phone number, delivery address and the specification of the book you ordered.
• Your photographs — the image files you upload after ordering, used solely to produce your book.
• Enquiry data — anything you type into the contact form.
• Payment data — handled by Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd. We do not store full card details or BLIK codes.
• Technical data — basic server logs (IP address, browser type) needed to run and secure the site.

Photos you drag into the builder before ordering stay in your browser. They are not uploaded to us unless and until you place an order.

3. Why we use it

• To produce and deliver your order (performance of a contract).
• To answer enquiries and prepare quotes (legitimate interest).
• To prevent fraud and keep the site secure (legitimate interest).
• To meet legal obligations such as accounting and tax records.

4. Sharing

We share data only with the providers needed to fulfil your order: our payment processor (Stripe), our print and courier partners, our file storage provider and our hosting provider. We do not sell personal data and we do not use it for automated decision-making. Where a provider processes data outside the UK or EEA, that transfer is covered by appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

5. Retention

• Order and invoicing records: 6 years, as required by UK law.
• Uploaded photographs: kept for 90 days after delivery so we can reprint if something goes wrong, then deleted. You can ask us to delete them sooner at any time.
• Enquiry correspondence: up to 2 years.

6. Your rights

Under UK GDPR you may access, correct, delete or restrict the use of your personal data, object to processing, or request portability. Email retail.sale@qroboros.co.uk and we respond within one month. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

7. Cookies

This site uses only essential cookies required for it to function. We run no advertising or tracking cookies. If we add analytics later, we will ask for your consent first.
